My hope and goal is to enable you as a couple to find your way back to the love and bonds that initially brought you together. During our sessions, an awareness of expectations, judgments, and entitlements will become recognizable, when before they were unrealized. We will define old coping strategies and explore new and healthier means of dealing with stress and conflict. New communication skills and mindfulness practices will support new patterns for change, leading to a new understanding, more loving patience, and a renewed intimacy.
Our explorations will include:
Building a new communication style.
Increasing the ability and willingness to accept and forgive.
Developing the awareness and willingness to validate individual feelings, thoughts, points of view, and experiences.
Understanding the impact of family history and cultural differences on your relationship.
Connecting who you are in your relationship with past life-changing events, traumatic experiences, and past relationships.
